We are a group of students from IIT and the University of Westminster, working together as Team CS-27.

Our project, Lexi, is an innovative app designed to support individuals with dyslexia by making learning accessible and engaging.

December 2024

From Field Visits to Frameworks: Building Solutions and Breaking Limits!

- Conducted a field visit to The Helping Hand Psychological Hospital and met with Director Ms. Thaaru, gaining valuable experience.
- Held an online meeting with Ms. Kavishka Fernando, Developer Advocate at WSO2, and received valuable technical feedback.
- Completed the website and launched it.
- Built the login UI and user authentication for the mobile application using Spring Boot and React Native, tested it successfully, and planned feature implementations.

November 2024

Started creating a proposal for a project that would help people in need.

- Drafted and finalized Lexi’s vision, mission, problem, and solution statements.
- Published the promotional video and launched a campaign to grow Lexi’s online presence.
- Submitted the project proposal, highlighting Lexi’s goals and development roadmap.

October 2024

A group of 6 people from different parts of the country came together to create a project that would help people in need.

- Finalized the project idea and identified the target audience (individuals with dyslexia).
- Created the first draft of branding elements, including the Lexi mascot and logo concepts.
- Conducted research on dyslexia challenges and potential solutions, focusing on gamified treatments.
